Cable Ties
25 products
Cable ties, commonly called zip ties, bundle and secure wire, cable, hose, and components quickly and inexpensively. A ratcheting head locks the strap at any tension for a fast, permanent or removable hold. Available in standard nylon, UV-resistant, and stainless steel, they're used everywhere from electronics to outdoor and industrial work. We stock cable ties across sizes and materials.
Materials and Environment
Standard nylon (natural/white): economical, for indoor and general use. UV-resistant (black nylon): stabilized against sunlight degradation for outdoor use — natural nylon becomes brittle in UV, so always use black UV-rated ties outdoors. Heat-stabilized nylon: for high-temperature engine and industrial areas. Stainless steel: maximum strength, fire, chemical, and extreme-temperature resistance for harsh industrial and marine settings.
Tensile Strength and Size
Cable ties are rated by tensile strength (the load the tie holds) and length/bundle diameter. Light-duty ties bundle wire; heavy-duty and stainless ties secure cable, pipe, and structural items. Match the tie's strength and length to the bundle size and load.
Removable and Specialty Ties
Releasable ties can be reopened and reused; mounted-head ties accept a screw for anchoring; identification ties have a write-on tab. Choose specialty styles for serviceable or labeled installations.
Selecting the Right Cable Tie
Match the length to the bundle diameter and the tensile rating to the load. Use UV-black ties outdoors, stainless for extreme heat/chemical/fire environments, and heat-stabilized for engine bays. Don't over-tension delicate cable, and choose releasable ties where you'll need to add or remove items later.
Use the filters to narrow by length, tensile strength, and material. Orders before 12 PM ET ship same day.
