Standoffs Round

Round standoffs are threaded spacers with a smooth cylindrical body, used to mount and separate circuit boards, panels, and components. The round profile gives a clean appearance where wrench grip isn't needed. They're widely used in electronics and enclosures. We stock round standoffs in male-female and female-female across every common material.

Configurations

Female-female: threaded holes both ends, joined by screws from each side — the standard for board and panel spacing. Male-female: a threaded stud one end, threaded hole the other, for stacking or threading directly into a panel. Choose by how your assembly stacks.

Round vs. Hex Standoffs

Round standoffs offer a clean look and are tightened by the attaching screws — fine for most board mounting. Hex standoffs allow wrench tightening for a more secure grip. Choose round for appearance and general use, hex where the standoff itself needs to be torqued.

Materials

Aluminum: lightweight and economical. Brass: conductive and corrosion-resistant, good for grounding. 18-8 stainless: strength and corrosion resistance. Nylon: non-conductive, for electrical isolation between board and chassis. Match material to whether the mount should ground or isolate.

Selecting the Right Round Standoff

Choose the configuration for your stack-up, length for the spacing, and thread size to match your screws. Select nylon for electrical isolation, metal for grounding and strength. Verify the screws are long enough to engage the standoff threads on each side.

Use the filters to narrow by length, thread size, material, and configuration. Orders before 12 PM ET ship same day.
